A few months ago, HAVEN staff recognized the importance of a healthy meal for the families we work with. We decided to start weekly dinners on Monday nights before support group to allow women and children to enjoy a meal together, but also to learn how to cook healthy meals with a focus on budgeting at the grocery store and the benefits of a nutritious lifestyle.
We’ve partnered with the Gallatin Valley Food Bank and nutritionist Cristin Forbes to provide nutritious and cost effective meals for our clients. Cristin is also volunteering her time to do one on one nutrition consultations with families.
THANK YOU to Cristin, the Gallatin Valley Food Bank, and HAVEN staff member Adi Flory for their help.
Cristin would love to hear from you!
