Volunteer Spotlights: Zak Reimer and Kelly Erickson

Zak Reimer

Zak Reimer, an MSU VOICE Center advocate and member of student groups Men Stopping Rape and Students Against Sexual Assault, has been volunteering for HAVEN’s Monday night children’s group for 8 months.  His positive attitude and quiet and gentle understanding make him a perfect male role model for the children.  Zak is able to show them that being a man doesn’t necessarily mean being loud and violent.  We’re thankful for his great role-modeling and commitment to this cause.

 Kelly Erickson

Kelly Erickson takes the trek from Big Sky nearly every week to volunteer for our Children’s group. Her energy is contagious and the children look forward to seeing her week after week. Kelly also has an interest in non-profit management and has been volunteering her time during the work days to research grants. Kelly has been trained as a crisis line advocate and also assists in HAVEN fundraising efforts.
