HAVEN operates a 24 hour Crisis Line number to intervene in emergencies and provide support for victims of domestic violence. Our Crisis Line is staffed with advocates 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. A call to our Crisis Line can be the first step in seeking help for domestic violence.
Through the Crisis Line we can:
- Assist individuals in determining if they or someone they love is being abused verbally, emotionally or physically
- Help to build a safety plan, so individuals can find ways to be safe and be prepared to leave when the time is right
- Find emergency shelter
- Provide information and referrals to other community resources
