Thank you for helping us spread the word during October — Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Some 60 percent of domestic violence survivors report they delayed leaving an abusive partner for fear of what would happen to their pet. We know that pets are part of the family. Our new shelter — opening in spring! — will welcome survivors and their pets.
