It's this perspective that makes her so excited to be a representative for survivors on the board level at Haven.

Angie was born and raised in Ennis, Montana, and now considers herself a Bozemanite. She attended MSU where she earned a bachelor's degree in accounting. Angie worked as a human resources guru for 20 years before recently transitioning to the slower pace and freedom of working with her husband on their online guitar instruction membership.

Angie loves spending time with her husband and two girls, and her favorite pastime is snuggling her two dogs. Angie also loves running, hiking, spontaneous adventures, and traveling.

Kristi Mills

Kristi is a seasoned financial leader with a 25-year career in the non-profit sector. Currently, she holds the position of CFO and interim COO at Yellowstone Forever, the official non-profit partner of Yellowstone National Park. In this role, she leads the finance, retail, and operations teams. Kristi started her career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen in California. However, her desire to return to her roots in the mountain west led her to choose Bozeman as her new home in 1996. Recognizing the potential to make an impact in helping others, she decided to specialize in the non-profit sector. Kristi worked for the Yellowstone Park Foundation for 10 years. Afterward, she made a career switch and became an adjunct professor at MSU’s Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship. Prior to her current role at Yellowstone Forever, Kristi spent four years as the director of finance at the Museum of the Rockies.

Outside of her professional life, Kristi is a loving mother of two sons and a proud owner of an older dog who continues to keep up with her active lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and traveling.

Mallory Dabney

Mallory is the owner and buyer of Heyday, in the heart of downtown Bozeman. Heyday is a gift and lifestyle boutique with curated assortments for life's everyday celebrations. Heyday has been a staple of the Bozeman downtown community for almost 15 years. A few years after joining the Heyday team, Mallory purchased the business from founder and owner Lisa Rickenbaugh. As a local small business owner, community member, wife and mother of two young children, Mallory recognizes and deeply values the impact that Haven makes on our local community through proactive education and outreach in an effort to serve all individuals impacted by domestic violence. She is honored to be a member of Haven's Board of Directors.

Mallory was born and raised in the Bay Area, where she also attended college at St. Mary's College of CA, earning her B.S. in Business Finance and Economics and later earned her MBA. When not at Heyday, she enjoys traveling, discovering new local restaurants and spending quality time with her husband, Alex, and two children, Sloane and Grayson.

Nancy Pedersen

Nancy first heard of Haven through her daughter’s work with the Voice Center while her daughter was attending Montana State University. When Nancy moved to Bozeman after spending most of her years in the western United States, she volunteered with Haven by answering the 24-hour support line, and that led her to join Haven's Board.

Nancy is a businessperson, lawyer, entrepreneur, and baker. She's a mother of three, mother-in-law of one, and grandmother of one, and loves to trek, travel, read, cook, and entertain. She’s an optimist and a glass-half-full kind of person who believes that while everyone has a unique story, we live and work in community. Every day, Nancy looks forward to venturing out and working with organizations like Haven and HRDC's Fork and Spoon to strengthen the fabric of our Bozeman community.

Alex Hoecker

Alex has made Big Sky her home since 2013. With her husband, Wes, she founded Two Pines Properties, which has grown into Big Sky's largest locally-owned luxury vacation rental company, overseeing more than 125+ homes.

Alex's passion lies in elevating the well-being of the Big Sky and Bozeman communities. Alex serves as a board member at her daughter's school; Alex’s future plans involve pursuing a law degree to serve her community more comprehensively, particularly in the critical areas of domestic abuse prevention, social justice, and public service.

In summer, Alex enjoys mountain biking and trail running, usually with her closest girlfriends, discussing everything from politics to mindless television. In winter, she explores Yellowstone National Park with her husband through split boarding. Regardless of the season, Alex finds her greatest happiness in nature and with her family.

Ruthi Solari (she/her)

Ruthi joined Haven’s board in September 2024 and enjoys learning and working alongside everyone who’s part of Haven. She’s worked in the non-profit and public sectors for 20+ years leading local, regional, and multi-national public health initiatives. Deeply passionate about collective impact, Ruthi is a trusted facilitator in convening diverse stakeholders around common goals and bringing ideas to life. From food systems to behavioral health to climate action, Ruthi dives deep into social and environmental justice issues to elevate community voices, innovate solutions, and deliver results. A practitioner and trainer of feminine-centered leadership, Ruthi believes in our innate ability to heal in community when we recognize our interconnectedness and lead with hope and love.

Ruthi is delighted to live, recreate, and be of service with her husband and two young wildings in the Valley of Flowers. She currently lives in the beautiful community of Big Sky, where she spent her childhood learning to ski, fly fish, and eat huckleberry pancakes with her grandparents.
