Haven hosting workshop for Big Sky service providers

Do you have a job in Big Sky where conversations with the people you’re helping are part of the job? (Hairstylist, nail tech, health care professional, teacher, EMT, camp counselor, for example?) 

Join us in August for our first-ever workshop for service providers like you in Big Sky, to learn more about the dynamics of domestic violence, and to learn how to connect those in need to Haven’s services. 

Join us at BASE in Big Sky on Friday, Aug. 12, from noon to 4 pm, to learn about: 

  • Haven and our services

  • How to refer someone to Haven

  • What to expect during and after the referral process

  • What is domestic violence? Statistics, signs, and barriers

  • How to provide support to someone in an abusive relationship

Haven will provide all attendees with printed materials, lunch, afternoon refreshments, goodie bags, and beverages including coffee and water.
