March 25: End the Silence event in Bozeman

Join us as we and a cohort of survivors bring End the Silence – Haven’s domestic violence survivor speakers’ bureau — to Bozeman on March 25.

Survivors will be sharing their stories at the Bozeman Event Space on Wednesday, March 25, with a question-and-answer session to follow. The event is free. We’re offering a limited number of tickets to the public — RSVP and submit your documents by noon on March 23.

Haven started End the Silence in 2015-16, after hearing from survivors who wanted to tell their stories safely and publicly. The program aims to:

  • Reduce the stigma around domestic violence, a public-health epidemic that for many years was treated as a private family matter

  • Educate the community by putting real people and their first-person narratives in front of the statistics (one in seven people nationwide, or 20,000 people in Gallatin County alone, face intimate-partner violence)

  • Mobilize our community to end domestic violence, sex trafficking, and stalking

We hope to see you on March 25. RSVP below and submit your required documents by noon on March 23.
