Find calm and creativity: May yoga classes at Haven
If the changing weather is getting you down, join us and yoga teachers Molly Damm and Lauren Whiddon for two yoga classes at Haven this month.
These 60-minute yoga sessions will be in Haven’s Connection Room — the first with Molly Damm on May 14 at 5:30 pm, and the second with Lauren Whiddon on May 29 at 5:30 pm.
Molly Damm’s May 14 class is designed with everyone in mind regardless of level. The practice invites you to move inward and to mindfully explore breath and sensation through thoughtful, gentle sequences of postures. “Together we will build compassion and deep relaxation,” Molly said. “Students of all ages and abilities are welcome in this peaceful flow, and class will be set up to meet each participant exactly where they are.”
Lauren Whiddon’s May 29 class is also for all levels, and will incorporate breath work, dynamic stretches, and strength-building sequences. This grounding practice will focus on cultivating balance and a deeper connection to the body.
Feel free to bring a mat if you have one; Haven can also provide yoga mats. These sessions are open to all Haven residents, staff, and members of the public who are cleared by our operations team. Sign up using the form below by 5 pm the day before (Monday, May 13 and/or Tuesday, May 28).
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the space! Rediscover presence and possibility this May.
