Register today for Haven's Mother's Day 5k!

We're so excited to host this year's Mother's Day 5k race in person!

Haven's Mother’s Day run started in 2012. Not just a fun run for the whole family, this event celebrates the mother figures in our lives while raising awareness about domestic violence in the Gallatin Valley, and about Haven’s mission. We invite you to join us on Mother's Day (May 8) and run or walk to support survivors of domestic violence. All mothers will receive a flower as they cross the finish line!

The 5K begins and ends at Bozeman Pond Park, right around the corner from our new shelter location on Pond Row. The course weaves through the Valley West neighborhood, following roads and park trails, including a loop around Meyers Lake. Dogs are welcome! For the safety of dogs and runners, please keep your dog on a six-foot leash.

The course is stroller-friendly and kid-friendly, with wide sidewalks and trails. The course’s elevation change is only a gradual 50 feet, making it accessible for all levels of runners, walkers, and other participants. An aid and water station will be located at the halfway point of the course.

To bring attention to the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples, we're partnering with two MSU student groups -- the American Indian Council and the MMIP Student Association -- who will be tabling at the event. Visit their Facebook page to learn more about events they're hosting around May 5, the National Day of Awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples.

Sign up now to join the fun and don’t forget to tag Haven on Facebook and Instagram when sharing about the Mother’s Day 5k event!
