What we see in Katie

Why this moment matters

The transition comes at a time when Haven is serving more survivors than ever before. Last quarter was the third record-breaking quarter in a row in terms of survivors served.

Federal funding for survivors, including grants that make up around 30 percent of Haven’s budget, is on unstable ground. If the funds are cut permanently, Haven may have to turn away some 400 survivors every year in Gallatin County.

Katie brings the experience and the values Haven will rely on in these times of funding uncertainties.
