Service trends from last quarter

The need for Haven’s services in the final quarter of the calendar year has been outpacing even the high population-growth rates of the Bozeman area, according to our internal service numbers.

While Bozeman — the fastest-growing small city in the United States — is growing at rates of 3 to 5 percent every year, Haven served 20 percent more survivors in the same year-end quarter, two years in a row.

A few caveats: Our annual, de-duplicated numbers don’t show such large increases. The numbers in the graph are unduplicated quarterly service numbers, so it’s possible that these figures are showing us that survivors are needing more support, and more consistent support over time.

Haven’s stand-alone legal advocacy services — helping survivors navigate the court system — also saw some growth last quarter, both compared to the quarter prior, and compared to the same period the year before.
